Una sera in Florida con i Pearl Jam

Sono passati 25 anni, ma i Pearl Jam sono ancora una delle band più importanti della scena musicale mondiale, amatissimi da milioni di fans. Lo scorso lunedì si sono esibiti alla Amalie Arena di Tampa (Florida), per la terza data del Tour che li porterà a toccare ben venti città del Nord America, molte delle quali già sold out.

Intorno alle 20,30 le luci si sono spente e la folla ha iniziato a gridare e applaudire. Avevamo il permesso di scattare solo durante le prime tre canzoni, ma per quello che abbiamo potuto vedere i loro fans li amano veramente come non mai.

I Pearl Jam hanno suonato per più di due ore e mezzo, entusiasmando il pubblico presente con un totale di trentadue canzoni.

After more than 25 years, Pearl Jam have remained relevant in both the music scene and the hearts of their fans. Last Monday night they played to a packed house at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL. This was the third stop of their current North American tour spanning through twenty cities, most of which are sold out. Around 8:30 the lights went down and the crowd erupted with enthusiastic screams and thunderous applause.  I was only able to cover the first three songs of the show, but from what I witnessed, Pearl Jam is just as adored in the eyes of their fans as they ever were. The band played for more than two and a half hours and thrilled the audience with a total of thirty-two songs.
